Financial information

KidsPeace’s programs and operations are supported by several distinct and essential funding sources.

As a non-profit charitable organization, KidsPeace is dependent on our local community for donations and grants which go toward funding the expert care we provide, in line with our mission to provide Hope, Help and Healing to children, adults and those who love them. For more information on donating to KidsPeace, check out our Giving Q and A page.

Fee-for-service payment and reimbursement for KidsPeace programs, meanwhile, comes from a variety of entities:

• Public funding, which comes from county and local programs such as Children and Youth, Social Services, school districts and probation offices. These agencies typically review the individual case and initiate the referral process to a KidsPeace program.

• Medicaid funding is provided by states to residents who qualify for assistance in paying for programs such as those provided by KidsPeace. To learn if you qualify for Medicaid, contact your local social services agency.

• Private commercial insurance often covers some level of the cost of the services provided at KidsPeace. The amount of the program fees paid for by private insurance varies according to the specific coverage that the individual has. Contact your employer or insurance provider to find out.

Check out our Admissions page for more information about the referral process and funding.
