Laughter, creativity, and play are more than just fun – they are essential to healing. With the support of the Starlight Children’s Foundation, KidsPeace has been able to provide children in our Pennsylvania, Maine, and North Carolina programs with toys that not only entertain, but also allow them to process emotions.
Play is more than fun: it’s powerful therapy. It gives children a safe way to process their feelings, build coping skills, and express emotions that may be too difficult to put into words. With the toys, books, and resources provided through the Starlight Children’s Foundation, our clinicians are able to turn playtime into meaningful healing experiences, helping them work through trauma while still experiencing the magic of childhood.
