Local business owners support KidsPeace by judging door decorating contest

BOWDON, Ga. – As KidsPeace celebrates its 130th anniversary, members of the community are getting involved in on-campus celebrations.

Last week, KidsPeace students and staff held a door decorating contest. Two local business owners and supporters of KidsPeace – Todd Fuller and Tommy Messer – served as judges for the artwork.

First place went to the high school class of teacher Yana Quinn and teacher’s aide Lynn Rooks. The second-place door was decorated by the junior high class of teacher Kathryn Gleason and teacher’s aide Donna McCullough. Third place went to the clients of Chris McGahee, a Community Support Individual.

KidsPeace is proud to celebrate 130 years of giving hope, help and healing to children, families and the communities we serve. Locations around the country are planning a variety of events in honor of this milestone as part of a 130-day campaign.

For photos of the contest or more information on KidsPeace’s programs or special events, check us out on Facebook at www.facebook.com/kidspeace.org.
