KidsPeace President Recognized by Business Publication
For the second year in a row, KidsPeace President and CEO Michael W. Slack has been named to Lehigh Valley Business’s “Power List for Health Care and Human Services.”
He is among nearly thirty community leaders identified by the regional business publication as individuals “who shape our communities and influence our quality of life through the health care institutions upon which our society depends, particularly during these past few years.”
The 2025 “Power List for Health Care and Human Services” was featured in the August 25th edition of LVB. In a personal reflection for the article, Slack noted that thanks to the work of KidsPeace associates and the support of human service partners, the organization has expanded the hours of its outpatient clinics in the Lehigh Valley.
“We’re on pace to grow delivery of our free walk-in assessments for children in the region by nearly 35% in 2025. These mental health assessments will enable more than 750 children to receive timely access to care to treat their mental health crisis,” he said.
