A Sweet Evening at Graham Lake

By February 27, 2026No Comments

Earlier this month, KidsPeace New England’s Graham Lake campus hosted its Annual Valentine’s Dinner – a cherished tradition that brings together our children and their parents, guardians, and families for an evening dedicated to love, togetherness, and community.

Thanks to our incredible associates and the generous support of our community, each child also received a Valentine’s surprise during the day — stuffed animals, heart‑shaped boxes of chocolates, Valentine bags with lip balm, stickers, candy, and color‑your‑own bookmarks. These small but meaningful gifts brought big smiles, making the “day of love” feel truly special.

“Our Annual Valentine’s Day Dinner is always one of my favorite nights of the year,” says Rebecca Greenlaw Toci, Community Outreach Specialist at KidsPeace New England. “Seeing our kids and their families relax, laugh, and enjoy a special meal together reminds us why we do what we do. The joy in the room was undeniable — it truly felt like a celebration of love, community, and the simple moments that mean the most.

A heartfelt thank‑you goes out to all the associates who took the time to come together to make the holiday special for the kids, as well as our community supporters who supplied gift cards to purchase gifts for the children. Their kindness ensured every child received a sweet treat and a reminder that they are cared for and valued.

Events like this show the power of love, community, and coming together to lift up the young people we serve, and we are truly grateful!
