Get $10 registration for KidsPeace 5K Family Fun Mud Run with proof of registration for canceled Great American Mud Run in Poconos

N. WHITEHALL TWP. – In the wake of the sudden cancelation of the Great American Mud Run, scheduled for Sept. 28 at Pocono Raceway, KidsPeace would like to extend $10 registration for our mud run to anyone who had signed up for that event.

The second annual KidsPeace 5K Family Fun Mud Run will be held April 26 on the Orchard Hills Campus at 5300 KidsPeace Drive in North Whitehall Township. Anyone who would like to take advantage of the $10 rate, which is an 80 percent discount, must show proof of registration for the Pocono event.

The Pocono mud run was canceled Monday, and participants are calling it a scam because event organizers have not release details of why the event is no longer happening.

Runners in the KidsPeace mud run will receive a tech t-shirt, meal and finisher’s dog tag. The race boasts 10 obstacles, such as sandpits, cargo nets and a slip ’n slide. The event also includes a 1-mile walk/run for anyone younger than 18 and a free 100-yard dash for children ages 4 to 6.
