KidsPeace Schools – PA 

KidsPeace provides education services for day and residential pupils at several locations in Pennsylvania for grades 1–12 who are seriously emotionally disturbed, diagnosed with mental retardation, learning disabled, developmentally delayed or exhibit learning problems, psychological distress or divergent behavioral problems. Also, KidsPeace Schools are accomplished at providing premier alternative education programs for students who are unable to achieve success in their home schools. For years, KidsPeace Schools have been meeting the educational requirements of clients in grades 1–12 placed by Boards of Education from the states of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut, West Virginia, Maryland, Illinois, Delaware, Virginia, Maine, Georgia and the District of Columbia.

Male/female grades 1–12 

In addition to services provided to Special Education students, specific additional weekly courses such as Human Growth and Development, Ethics and Citizenship, Hygiene and Healthy Lifestyles, Transition to Work Skills, Life Management, reinforcement of transitioning, assistance with specific academic and behavioral needs, crisis counseling and specialized interventions such as “Thinking for a Change.”

KidsPeace is a godsend to us. We are from New York, and a lot of these (KidsPeace) services were not available to us. I was told [my daughter] would not survive her adolescence, and now she is graduating…it was monumental for me.
