KidsPeace Mesabi Academy is located in Buhl, Minnesota. This facility is licensed by the Minnesota Department of Corrections and members of the Minnesota Counsel of Child Caring Agencies (MCCCA). This location offers services to delinquent and non-delinquent youth ages 10–18, as well as Extended Juvenile Jurisdiction youth to age 21.

What sets Mesabi Academy apart from other correctional facilities is the provision of a full continuum of therapeutic, clinical, educational and reintegration services to youth in residence. They provide strongly integrated yet distinct secure and open residential programs, and offer aftercare services to help youth adjust to community living and prevent recurrence of previous offending behaviors. The success of youth who have completed our programs testifies to the strength of our services and the dedication of our staff.
