Janice and Jack are siblings who
are ages 3 and 6, respectively. They are loving and energetic and love
to watch movies and play in the park. The are bi-racial and are from
Reading, PA, and are being placed because of their parents' mental
health issues. These sweet children have witnessed a lot in their short
lives, including domestic violence, incarceration of their father for
drug use and attempt to sell and their older brother hitting their
mother in the home. They were also left unsupervised often. Janice is
developmentally delayed and will require service through Easter Seals.
Jack has ADHD, severely delayed speech and has not yet been registered
in school. The children hit each other, and Jack curses, but a
structured environment and loving care will help them a great deal.
Both children are behind on doctor's appointments and have never seen a
dentist. It is important that Janice and Jack be placed together. They
will have weekly visits with their mother and attend therapy sessions
with as well. If you are interested in becoming a foster parent for
these adorable siblings, please call 610-374-0946.
