Clifton, NJ

Franklin* is a 15-year-old African American male who is in the 10th grade. He loves to play basketball, football and video games. Franklin is thankful for his family, his social workers at KidsPeace residential and his friends. He is smart, resillient, encouraging and a lot of fun to be around. He has experienced abuse and neglect by his biological family and has issues with impulse control and aggression. He sometimes has issues with listening to authority figures but is currently working on his listening skills and how to work as part of a team. He is in a special education class and would benefit from living in a two-parent foster family that would be able to supervise him closely. Franklin would enjoy having an older brother in the household who could serve as a role model and friend. If you would like to learn more about Franklin and how you could become his foster parent, please call 973-614-8800.
