Teams, volunteers wanted for KidsPeace Soccer Invitational

Visit www.kidspeace.org/soccer to sign up for the 17th annual tournament

N. WHITEHALL TWP. – KidsPeace is now registering teams and accepting volunteers for the 17th annual Soccer Invitational, planned for Aug. 16-17 on the Orchard Hills Campus.

In addition to competitive soccer games, the two-day event promotes interaction among team members and spectators, and gives visitors a chance to learn more about KidsPeace. This event, sanctioned by the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association, is the first tournament of the fall season in the local area.

Proceeds from the tournament benefit two KidsPeace-supported websites: www.TeenCentral.Net and www.ParentCentral.Net, which offer free, anonymous online counseling. This year’s sponsors are People First Federal Credit Union, INETU and Choice Energy.

Registration is now open for U9-U14 boys and girls teams. For more information, to sign up or for volunteer or sponsor opportunities, visit www.kidspeace.org/soccer.
