KidsPeace Wellness Fair encourages employees to take control of health before there is a problem
North Whitehall Township – In an effort to encourage employees to embrace preventative healthcare, KidsPeace will host a Wellness Fair Wednesday on the Orchard Hills Campus in North Whitehall Township.
The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the First Aid Pavilion. Visitors to the health fair will have access to free health screenings, stress management tips, Zumba demonstrations, massages, information on local gyms and raffle prizes.
As a result of years of rising healthcare costs, more companies are encouraging associates to take control of their own healthcare, offering wellness initiatives, smoking cessation programs or seminars on work-life balance. KidsPeace associates will be asked to complete a survey, giving feedback about information that would be most valuable to have included in future wellness programs.
For 132 years, KidsPeace has been building on its expertise to give hope, help and healing to children, families and communities throughout the United States. Through its comprehensive range of residential treatment programs; accredited educational services; unique psychiatric hospital and foster care and community-based programs, KidsPeace is dedicated to helping people connect, transform and overcome their challenges to ensure a stable future, transition to adulthood and gain independence. Since its doors opened in 1882, more than 200,000 children have participated in one of the multitude of programs KidsPeace offers.
