KidsPeace to host 5th Annual Golf Tournament to benefit
foster care children in Raleigh/Durham
Fuquay-Varina, N.C. – KidsPeace is gearing up for the 5th Annual Golf Tournament to benefit children in foster care.
Golfers will hit the links Thursday, with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. at Crooked Creek Golf Course. Cost is $100 per person or $350 for a four-person team, and includes lunch, drinks, greens fees, golf cart, range balls and a gift bag. Hole sponsorships are $150.
Prizes include cash, golf passes and golf shop credit. All proceeds go to the Raleigh/Durham Children’s Fund, which provides essentials for children and teenagers in KidsPeace foster care and community programs. To provide some insight into how your registration or a donation can help, please consider that $375 pays for an SAT prep course; $100 covers a pair of eyeglasses; $72 is the cost of online summer school classes and $20 provides a duffel bag so a foster child has something other than a trash bag in which to place his belongings.
