BALTIMORE – With less than six weeks until race day, OneMain Financial has signed on as the presenting sponsor for the KidsPeace Trick-or-Trot 5K/1-Mile Walk at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
The fourth annual race, held in partnership with the Baltimore Orioles and OriolesREACH, starts at 8 a.m. Nov. 2, and all proceeds benefit KidsPeace Foster Care and Community Programs of Maryland and Washington D.C. This is the first year it will begin and end at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
“We are honored to support local philanthropic organizations such as KidsPeace and OriolesREACH and the vital role they play for the people in our communities,” said Mary McDowell, President and CEO, OneMain Financial and CitiFinancial North America.
OneMain Financial has been serving local communities since 1912. Based in Baltimore, the company has more than 1,100 locations across the country, including 21 branches in Maryland.
“OneMain Financial has stepped up to the plate and hit a home run for the foster youth of KidsPeace,” said Angela Showalter, wife of Orioles Manager Buck Showalter and a KidsPeace Board member. “Buck and I are honored to have had the opportunity to interact with some of the children and young adults that KidsPeace serves, and we invite the community to join us on race day to lend their support.”
