N. WHITEHALL TWP. – Registration is now open for the 16th annual Soccer Invitational on KidsPeace’s Orchard Hills Campus.

The event, which will be held Aug. 17 and 18, encourages competitive soccer games and interaction with families and team members. This event, sanctioned by the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association, is the first tournament of the fall season in the local area.

More than 60 teams participated in 2012, and about 2,200 people came to campus to show their support for the players. Proceeds from the tournament benefit two KidsPeace-supported websites: www.TeenCentral.Net and www.ParentCentral.Net.

Early registration ends June 30. For more information, to sign up online or for volunteer opportunities, visit www.kidspeace.org/soccer.
