Independent Bikers of PA
Deliver “Christmas in July”
To KidsPeace Children
Schnecksville, PA – More than 75 motorcycles, ridden by members of
the Independent Bikers of Pennsylvania, roared onto the Orchard Hills Campus of
KidsPeace Sunday, July 18 at 1:30 p.m. bearing a large assortment of new toys,
videos and clothing for children in residence at the facility.
The Ninth Annual Toy Run featured Santa in his
sleigh who greeted approximately 50 children and handed out gifts donated by
the club. The member ride began at
noon in Marshall’s Creek.
“We had a good response this year and so many
members were thrilled to participate,” said Owen Strauss, ride organizer. “It’s a fun day to ride for such a
great cause and then see the children when we get here.”
KidsPeace children, ages 10-15, made colorful banners
to welcome the riders and were eager to greet Santa and see the motorcycles up
close.
