KidsPeace to Host 24th Annual Golf Classic

 Permanent link
KidsPeace will be hosting the 24th Annual Golf Classic at Lehigh Country Club in Allentown, PA, on Monday, June 22, 2009. This popular fundraising event is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a day of competitive golf with community and business leaders of the Lehigh Valley and help children in need by supporting the KidsPeace Children's Fund. According to KidsPeace Advancement Department Event Manager Colleen Kulp, "Our goal is to raise $100,000 for our Children's Fund, which was established to provide books, personal items and other services to improve and brighten the children's lives."

The day will begin with a luncheon and shot-gun start, and golfers will compete for the coveted tournament championship and prizes for the longest drive, the ball that lands closest to the pin and the "Pot O' Gold." There will also be a million dollar shootout and hole in one prizes. After the comptition ends, participants will enjoy a cocktail hour, buffet dinner and awards ceremony. There will also be a silent and a live auction for wonderful donated items.

KidsPeace is also still accepting sponsorships from individual and businesses, which provides recognition throughout the tournament for our generous participants. More information is available in our downloadable brochure, or call Collen Kulp at 610-799-7906. The registration deadline is June 12, 2009, so sign up while there are still openings.
