Dear Friends of KidsPeace:

Welcome to the KidsPeace Web site. We hope that you will take some time to explore the content of this site and to learn about all of the wonderful programs and services KidsPeace provides to children families and communities across the nation. Since 1882, KidsPeace has been the source of hope, help and healing to children and families in crisis. Our rich history contains thousands of success stories that inspire and motivate our associates, our customers, our foster parents, our volunteers and those who visit this site for information on how to help their own children and families.

Originally a home for children orphaned by smallpox, KidsPeace has grown and evolved over the years to meet the mental and emotional needs of children, adolescents and young adults. KidsPeace has dozens of offices and treatment facilities across the country and serves more than 8,200 young people annually in a variety of venues.

Please review the many services we provide and feel free to contact us using one of our Information Request Forms. Also view the “What’s New at KidsPeace” page to learn about upcoming events and newsworthy information from our many locations. I also invite you to visit our Services page to see the many specialized programs we offer.

This year, KidsPeace is going through a transformation that is changing the model for our clinical operations, a process that will ensure the safest, most effective delivery of clinical care to all of our clients. Our Psychiatric Hospital now offers direct admissions and accepts clients up to age 21. Our aim, as always, is to make admission to KidsPeace more efficient and service as broad as possible to serve as many young people in need as possible.

There are many resources on this Web site, including links to our award-winning Healing Magazine®, brochures and articles written by the experts at KidsPeace. Fostercare.com provides in-depth information on becoming a foster parent and includes profiles of some extraordinary foster families and children awaiting loving homes. There is also a link to TeenCentral.Net, a KidsPeace Web site for teens that is anonymous and free to teens with issues to discuss.

Thank you again for visiting KidsPeace.org, and please contact us to answer any of your questions or help you address any of your family’s needs.

With very best wishes,

Will Isemann
