JustBorn, American Bank donate to KidsPeace through EITC
Two more Lehigh Valley companies have generously donated to KidsPeace this week through Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program.
JustBorn presented $5,000, and American Bank gave $1,500. The funds offset educational costs for eligible children at KidsPeace.
EITC is an opportunity for Pennsylvania businesses to receive tax breaks for supporting select nonprofit organizations. Any business that gives to KidsPeace through the EITC receives a tax credit equal to 75 percent of its contribution up to a maximum of $300,000 per taxable year. Businesses that allocate the same funding for two consecutive years get a 90 percent credit.
More information on the program is available at the PA Department of Community & Economic Development (DCED) website.
