KidsPeace, Orchard Behavioral Health to host June 26 open house
Come visit our new Tobyhanna office to learn about services we now offer to adults and children
TOBYHANNA – KidsPeace and Orchard Behavioral Health are excited tell the community about mental and behavioral health services available to both children and adults.
KidsPeace, which has a 131-year history of helping children and adolescents in crisis, recently moved our Stroudsburg office to Tobyhanna. In addition to continuing to help children and teenagers with mental and behavioral health needs, we are now offering services to adults as well.
The outpatient mental health clinic in Tobyhanna opened June 1 and is structured as an urgent care walk-in model. Much like acute care centers for physical health, our clinic allows patients to avoid long emergency room waits, expedites the process of initiating care and allows KidsPeace staff to assess the client, stabilize any crisis and make an appropriate level of care recommendation.
Services include psychiatric evaluations; group therapy; psychological testing; individual and family therapy; medication monitoring, parenting support; walk-in assessments and urgent care assessments for referral to higher levels of care. Please join us for the open house to learn more.
WHAT: Open house
WHEN: 2 to 4 p.m., Wed., June 26
WHERE: 100 Community Drive, Suite 208, Tobyhanna, PA 18466
