Get dirty at the KidsPeace 5K Family Fun Mud Run
The inaugural event is noon Saturday at our Orchard Hills Campus in North Whitehall Township.
N. WHITEHAL TWP. – Outdoor exercise enthusiasts from across the Lehigh Valley and beyond will be racing through sand pits, scaling cargo nets, skidding across a slip ‘n slide and splashing through mud Saturday at KidsPeace’s inaugural 5K Family Fun Mud Run.
More than 450 runners are signed up to participate in the race, which boasts 10 obstacles and plenty of fun on our scenic Orchard Hills Campus at 5300 KidsPeace Drive in North Whitehall Township.
The event kicks off at noon and includes the 5K and a 1-mile walk/run for anyone younger than 18. Children ages 4 to 6 may participate in a FREE 100-yard dash. There is something for everyone, with donated Crayola products for the youngest attendees and a sizable trophy for the winning corporate team.
Online registration is closed, but we will be accepting walk-up registrations the day of the race. Don’t want to bother cleaning your muddy sneakers after the race? Drop them in our donation bins before you leave.
