Gov. Nathan Deal and First Lady Sandra Deal to visit KidsPeace Georgia
When: 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., Sept. 18

Details: The Deals will be touring our Bowdon campus and meeting with employees and residential clients. The visit will commence with an introduction to KidsPeace, an explanation of our residential treatment services and a look at the residential units, classrooms and recreation center. The KidsPeace Bowdon cheerleaders will perform a routine.
At 3:10 p.m., there will be a discussion in the conference room of the administration building about the challenges KidsPeace and similar providers face regarding funding, regulatory issues and acuity of clients. There will be photo opportunities at 3:25 p.m. before the Deals depart.
