KidsPeace offers summer recreational program

FOUNTAIN HILL – Now that school is out, children are looking for something fun to do, and parents are looking for a place where they will be safely entertained. KidsPeace’s summer recreation program is the perfect answer.

The program starts Monday and runs through Aug. 23, noon to 5 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays. Children ages 4 to 16 may attend as many days or hours as they would like for $10 an hour. Days and hours may fluctuate from week to week to accommodate parents’ schedules, and children do not have to sign up for every week.

KidsPeace admission agreement forms must be signed prior to the start of the program, and early pick-ups must be scheduled. Refunds will not be given. Payment in the form of cash or money order will be due by Thursday for the following week.

Children should pack lunches, which they will eat at the start of the program. They will go swimming in our indoor pool daily, so please pack a bathing suit and towel for your child. Other activities will include games in our gym, outdoor playground, field and padded wrestling room.

KidsPeace will welcome mental health professionals to aide children while they are participating in the program, but we will not be billing any state payer/insurance.

For additional information or to enroll a child in this new program, call Jen Mucellin at 610-799-8659 or Alexis Harvey at 610-799-8617.
